12 Moore Street, Canberra

Aria Seats and Simple Bins have been optimised for long-term maintenance and to complement the shape of the space at 12 Moore Street, Canberra. The Aria two-seaters and curved configurations fit around planter corners with 90 degree connector modules, and in sheltered nooks. The round 80L Simple Bins match the seats, featuring Textura Monument frames and aluminium woodgrain Spotted Gum battens. These batten and frame materials are an ideal combination for easy cleaning and maintenance. The textured and anti-mar Textura powdercoat range is highly recommended for bins, as it is easy to wipe clean. Woodgrain aluminium provides a warm timber look – recommended for places with cold climates such as Canberra – without the need for regular oiling. Museum of the Goldfields

This gold-mining heritage museum in Kalgoorlie, a regional town in Western Australia, now features moveable street furniture in a glorious summery palette. Aria Seats, Cafe Round Tables and Stools, Forum Seats and Forum Low Tables are powder coated in tailored Sunshine Gloss and standard Sensation Orange, Lycra Strip and Bondi Blue. Some of the frames match the battens, some are finished in Textura Monument. The Museum says the furniture is colour matched to represent all six Western Australian Museum locations, spread across the state and representing social and natural histories of the land and sea. “The Western Australian Museum’s mission is to inspire people to explore and share knowledge with one another. Introducing this furniture activates our outdoor area, creating a safe and welcoming space for our community to do …

Flemington Station

Aria Seats and Cafe Round Tables and Stools are installed in the streets surrounding Flemington Station in Homebush West, NSW, as part of a refresh by Strathfield Council. “Furniture and other urban infrastructure is critical to placemaking – it provides patrons with functional amenity and dedicates a space to the desired purpose,” says Benjamin Ewins, Landscape Architect with Strathfield Council. Council has offered opportunities to sit by yourself, with a friend or a larger group. A series of single Aria Seats and larger curved configurations using 45 degree connector panels are installed. Cafe settings allow more people to sit, work or eat together outdoors. The Aria Seats feature ‘Wood Without Worry’ aluminium woodgrain battens in Spotted Gum. This low-maintenance timber alternative has a softening effect, says Ewins. “Natural looking materials …
