Trend Watch: Thailand’s Largest Elevated Park

Cloud 11 is a significant 250,000m² mixed-use development scheduled to open in March 2026. Located in South Sukhumvit, Bangkok’s vibrant innovation hub, it features Thailand’s largest rooftop park, Cloud 11 Park, designed by Snøhetta, which is centrally located within the complex.
With Bangkok having one of Asia’s lowest public green space ratios (under 7m² per resident, compared to the 39m² regional average), the design of Cloud 11’s central courtyard is of particular importance.
The lawns are purpose built for festivals, performances, picnics and everyday recreation. There are pocket parks that cater for everyone, from playgrounds and sports courts for the young, to therapy gardens and cultural spaces for the whole community and older generations. All public spaces will be available 24/7.
Sustainability is also a major feature of the park. Air pollution, rising heat and flooding occur frequently in the city. The park will act as an urban lung, filtering the air, mitigating heat and supporting biodiversity.
The development as a whole boasts one of the largest open floor plans in Asia, including the ‘Creator Village’ which features events and exhibition spaces, creator studios and wellness centres. Hotels, retail and a learning hub make up the outer components of Cloud 11.
