Simple, standard, discrete: Mall Seat with plinth bracket

A simple solution inspired by popular demand, Street Furniture Australia’s new plinth bracket allows seats and benches to fix straight onto concrete and eliminates the need to design and fabricate custom parts.

After being inundated with requests to mount our seats on plinths, SFA production manager Christopher Morgan used our in-house 3D printer to create a model for a bracket to match our benches and seats.

The new plinth bracket now joins our standard range, received with interest by councils and landscape architects.

The bracket is available, at no extra cost, for our Galleria, Concourse and Mall benches, slim benches and seats, with battens in Jarrah, anodised aluminium or powder coated in any colour.

Contest winner: Awkward Family Photo

The Street Furniture Australia factory, in Regents Park, Western Sydney, is both a manufacturing hub and R&D studio for our Australian-designed and made street furniture products. Camerer hatches winning seat

Landscape architect Nicholas Camerer, from Fremantle’s Ecoscape in Western Australia, is the winner of the first Intergrain Urban Timber Project. Graduates and students pitched their designs for a functional piece of urban furniture for a community garden in Werribee Park, Victoria; a supportive cross-cultural hub for locals and Karen refugees. The challenge: to find imaginative ways to use timber in a seat that invites the community to come together.
