Phillip Slattery – Head of Design, Street Furniture Australia

Phill’s career spans more than 30 years developing products across a broad spectrum of industries with senior positions held with Invetech, Terran computers, Schiavello, Zenith, Designlab, Westwood Design group and Pataki Design, designing products for Shell, Electrolux, Qantas, Black and Decker, General Electric, Siemens, Britax, HPM, City of Melbourne, Boral, Haworth and others. Phill’s work has obtained ‘Design Mark’ awards, several ‘Australian Design Awards’ and a ‘Prince Philip Prize’ for design excellence. His core knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes is extensive. Phill has also been involved in education, lecturing at RMIT, Monash University and Swinburne University.

June Lee Boxsell – Marketing Manager, Street Furniture Australia

June has worked 12 years in the street furniture industry with a background in marketing and industrial design. Her role at SFA is wide ranging with expertise in branding, product and digital strategy. June has been involved in forming AILA and other industry partnerships, developing the new website and securing design registrations and trademarks. She is also active in new product development and has given seminars on street furniture design at the University of New South Wales and Whitehouse Institute of Design.
