Darling Island Wharf is a picturesque waterfront location on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline. A popular destination for tourists and residents, the wharf has been elegantly furnished with Classic Galleria Seats and Traditional Bollards, in keeping with the traditional style of the historic waterfront.
Melbourne’s historic Luna Park, overlooking Port Phillip Bay, has been a St Kilda fixture since 1912. As part of Port Phillip Council’s upgrade to the forecourt, Traditional bollards in Heritage Green were selected for installation at the entrance to the amusement park. Mayor Amanda Stevens says the upgrade provides visitors with a safer space to view and photograph the iconic Luna Park Mr Moon face. “The new look forecourt will enhance photo opportunities in front of the famous Mr Moon Face, and provide a bigger and safer space for local visitors and tourists to congregate around the site,” she says.
Traditional Bollards are installed on the south side of Louisiana State University’s Tiger Stadium. Surface-fixed and removable inground bollards, all in a satin Night Sky finish, surround the building. The heritage-style bollard complements the stadium’s architecture. The building has undergone many expansions, each in the Victorian Italian Renaissance style of the original structure – which was built in 1924 and is often cited as the most revered building in Louisiana. The bollards were installed by Stuart and Co General Contractors.
