Jazz at The Mint 2025: a joy-filled evening with landscape architects

Street Furniture Australia’s fourth annual Jazz at The Mint was held on March 20, 2025 at the historic Sydney Mint, co-hosted with iGuzzini and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.

The 2025 product launch celebration was the biggest yet with more than 150 guests, a great night of live music, food and drinks with the latest releases on show. The event has become a must-attend evening for clients to experience new products for specification in an elegant outdoor setting, and to network with fellow landscape architects and built environment professionals.

This year Head of Product Design, Francis McArdle, officially launched the Piatto Outdoor Dining range, which includes the Piatto: ChairLove Seat, TableStool and Bar Stool.

iGuzzini lit up the night with a superb display of Italian craftsmanship, and live jazz music was provided for the fourth year in a row by The Graduates.

The distinguished speakers included:

  • Uncle Allen Madden, who gave a warm Welcome to Country,
  • David Moir, AILA NSW President,
  • Rino Brindisi, iGuzzini Partner and Managing Director of illuminotechnica, and
  • June Lee Boxsell, Street Furniture Australia Head of Strategy and Innovation.

Bringing the event to a global scale, 10 landscape architects travelled from the US as guests of Street Furniture Australia and our US distributor partner Spruce & Gander. Eight landscape architects from interstate Australia were also sponsored to attend as part of our annual Studio Workshop promotion.

The joy-filled evening included a competition that prompted a flurry of introductions for a chance to win a Whisper Table Lamp or Piatto Love Seat – congratulations to Cloris Wang (GroupGSA), Claudia Andrade (fjcstudio), Ashley Robertson (Moir Studio) and Clarence Slockee (Jiwah).

We look forward to welcoming guests to this annual event in 2026 to celebrate a special milestone: Street Furniture Australia’s 40th Anniversary.
