‘Elegant Simplicity’: Finally A Good Looking Bin

Style it your way. Refer to brochure for specifications.

Linea Bin is the newest addition to Street Furniture Australia’s minimalist Linea range. Built from stainless steel for strength, durability and a refined aesthetic, it has been thoughtfully designed with input from landscape architects and waste managers to deliver hygiene, accessibility and sustainability in the public realm.
Built to Last
A robust stainless steel frame and panel system ensures Linea Bin performs in high-traffic environments. A full-height stainless steel 316 piano hinge and splash tray provide exceptional strength, hygiene and corrosion resistance, withstanding daily impacts from trolleys and cleaning equipment.
“Durability was paramount,” says Pearson Bulmer, Senior Industrial Designer at Street Furniture Australia. “Every detail needed to perform in the public realm for years to come – but also be designed for disassembly so parts can be repaired, replaced or recycled at end-of-life.”
Hygienic and Easy to Clean
Smooth, hose-friendly surfaces and an angled roof prevent rubbish build-up and water pooling. A clever splash tray and chute ensure waste falls neatly into the internal wheelie bin – with room for large items like pizza boxes. Stainless steel 316 resists stains and odours, while optional Textura powder-coated finishes offer a graffiti-resistant, hard-wearing and easy-clean surface.
Accessible for All
Clear, high-contrast signage, developed with wayfinding experts, makes waste streams intuitive. Carefully calibrated for DDA and ADA accessibility standards, the graphics are visible from up to 10 metres. “We wanted signage that is both inclusive and enduring,” says Bulmer. “That meant avoiding vinyls or labels that fade or peel – instead using recessed graphics with strong colour contrast to guide every user.”

Site Specific Style
Linea Bin can be tailored with colour, texture and artwork. Side panels can be laser-etched or perforated for durable signage and decoration. Available in two sizes – 120L and 240L – the bins fit standard Australian wheelie bins and can be installed singly or as recycling stations. Optional eBin smart sensors improve efficiency and safety.

Sustainable Design
Certified carbon neutral through Climate Active, Linea Bin is built for circularity. Designed for disassembly, its stainless steel and aluminium parts can be recycled at end-of-life. Easy to repair and even relocate, the bin is built for decades of service.
“The challenge was to create a premium product that doesn’t shout for attention,” Bulmer adds. “We wanted elegant simplicity – that’s not something you usually hear about bins.”
