Winners Announced! ‘Win a Trip to Sydney’ Promotion

Congratulations to the winners of our ‘Win a Trip to Sydney’ promotion! A few lucky landscape architects will experience the best of Sydney over several days in March 2025.

Events include Street Furniture Australia’s exclusive Jazz at The Mint product launch event, a factory tour, fine dining, and more. The prize also includes return flights and 5-star hotel accommodation. Our USA winners are hosted in collaboration with our distributor partner Spruce and Gander.

Jazz at The Mint welcomes 120 landscape architects to an enjoyable night of  live jazz, cocktails and new products at a historic venue. Hosted with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.

All our Studio Workshops include a quick and fun game. The winning team is entered into a draw, with winners selected from a pool of participants from that state. The prize is drawn at the end of each year.

Engineered Wood: A New Timber Alternative

With the look and feel of natural timber, backed by 12 months of performance testing for the public realm, engineered wood joins Street Furniture Australia’s selection of batten materials. Designers and place custodians can now choose from three batten options to achieve a timber look: natural Spotted Gum hardwood, low maintenance aluminium Wood Without Worry, and engineered wood known as Onewood HRT. What is engineered wood?Onewood HRT (Homogeneous Reconstituted Timber) is a solid engineered timber, made from fast-growing FSC and PEFC-certified poplar and eucalyptus fibres that are compressed under heat and pressure with a resin binder. US landscape architects visit Street Furniture Australia in Sydney

Street Furniture Australia and US partner Spruce & Gander in March hosted landscape architects from California and Texas on a visit to Sydney to experience a factory tour, site visits and a new product launch. The American landscape architects represented MJS Landscape Architecture, RHAA Landscape Architecture + Planning, TBG Partners, Avid Trails and Ten Eyck Landscape Architects. Over a week-long trip the guests were treated to famous sights of Sydney including the iconic Bondi Beach, a harbour cruise and dining at top restaurants in urban Surry Hills and the new Barangaroo precinct. To celebrate the unveiling of the Piatto Chair at our annual product launch party with AILA NSW in Sydney, Jazz at The Mint, clients were invited to enter this quirky contest. The competition called for teams to incorporate Piatto Chairs into an ‘Awkward Family Photo’ portrait, for a chance to win Piatto Chairs of their very own.
