Milton Streetscape NSW, Australia (2010)

Shoalhaven City Council announced a design competition in 2009 as part of a streetscape upgrade in Milton, NSW. Artist Daniela Turrin submitted the winning design, featuring a fig tree, which was then fabricated in the stainless steel panels of the Frame Bin Enclosure.

Street Furniture Australia supplied Shoalhaven City Council with a number of Plaza Seats and the custom-designed bins in June 2010. The new seating and bins installed in the historic town provide a classic, unique finish that is in keeping with the environmental surrounds.

Berry Street Nowra

The historic city of Nowra on the NSW South Coast is a busy holiday destination and bustling residential area. The main road, Berry Street, underwent a recent upgrade by the Shoalhaven City Council, including new seating and landscaping. Classic Plaza Seats, Frame Rectangular Planters and Silva Guard tree guards were installed, creating an attractive and uplifting new streetscape. At the request of the Council, some of the Classic Plaza Seats were customised to match the exact length of the Frame Rectangular Planters (1 metre) to create uniformity. The result is a stylish new streetscape with clean lines and colour.

Camberwell Laneways

Wave benches, designed by Oculus, breathe new life into Camberwell Laneways. When the Boroondara Council looked at the dull, service-only laneways in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell, it saw an opportunity to reflect the character of a community.
