Base plates for removable surface-fixed bollards are powder coated in Safety Yellow as standard to increase visibility when the bollard is removed. However, it is important to note that the base plate is still a potential tripping hazard and is not recommended for areas where the bollard is removed most of the time or there is heavy pedestrian traffic. Street Furniture Australia recommends the removable in-ground bollards for these circumstances.

Avalon Streets for People

Northern Beaches Council has transformed Old Barrenjoey Road into a one-way shared zone with relaxed seating area in Avalon, NSW, as part of the NSW Government‘s Streets as Shared Spaces program. Ulmarra Precinct

This heritage-sensitive upgrade of Ulmarra, a riverside village in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales by Vee Design for Clarence Valley Council, features custom artwork by local First Nations artists, etched onto Linea Bollards. A theme of local wildlife was chosen by the local community for the public art during consultation by Council. Frances Belle Parker and Deborah Taylor were commissioned to co-create the designs.
