Ten different Aria Benches are installed at Northshore Christian Grammar School, a new K-12 school in Alkimos, Western Australia. The site-specific benches feature bright Lycra Strip green battens, paired with Textura Monument frames and 45 and 90 degree connector panels. The flexible Aria system curves around architectural elements in the space, as specified by Grace Bosisto, architect with Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick.   Experiment with modular Aria configurations with the desktop Build Aria app.

St Anthony’s Catholic School

Rainbow benches are installed in outdoor learning and play areas of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in Marsfield in northern Sydney. The students were consulted in the design of their new playground, says Principal Julianne Rook, and requested ‘Rainbow Seats’ to brighten the space. “They chose vivid, happy colours to complement the soft fall and shade cloth colours, favouring a combination of curved and straight seating,” she says. “The space is multi-functional, serving as both an outdoor learning and interactive play space.” Mall Curved Slim Benches are paired with Mall Slim Benches to create curved and straight formations. Davies Harrington Design has created a new courtyard space for the MIT campus on Sussex Street in Sydney. Michelle Davies, Designer, says student wellbeing was at the heart of the brief right from the beginning of the project. “The courtyard is central to this in that it acts as a space of rejuvenation between classes,” she says. “Lush plantings, vibrant colour and natural wood materials create a sense of calm. The Street Furniture Australia benches bring a splash of fun and an opportunity for students to mingle and enjoy all this space has to offer.” Eight plinth-mounted Mall Seats, with battens powder coated in Viper Green, are installed on a ledge that runs the length of the courtyard.
