Mascot Park

As part of an upgrade to Mascot Park in Sydney, a number of Mall Sun Lounges were installed in order to encourage more people to use the park during the working week. The park is well located for nearby offices and businesses. The design is a re-interpretation of a typical pool-side sun lounge, inspired by a flower or lily leaning forward. It is both sculptural and comfortable to use and a unique addition to this urban park.

Jordan Springs

A community development in Western Sydney by Lendlease, Jordan Springs features 900 hectares of parklands and open space. Street Furniture Australia was invited by Penrith City Council, Clouston Associates and Lendlease to furnish the local parks and streetscapes. Melaleuca Park and Lake Clouston Associates has designed the Melaleuca playground and lakeside open public spaces for the Jordan Springs Estate. The playground is sited in the shade of a mature spotted gum forest, preserving the natural landscape character of the Cumberland Plain Woodland. Created with designer Ric McConaghy, it features sculptured play elements – an emu slide, cicada totems, tree houses, trampolines, swings, water play and climbing nets.
