Jubilee Playground

Jubilee Playground by Sue Barnsley Design has been awarded the Medal for Landscape Architecture at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects NSW 2014 Awards. The playground, in Glebe’s Bicentennial Park, is a whimsical community space for children. Nicknamed ‘the lost world’ by its creators, the park meets the increasing demand for inner city families to access outdoor play spaces. “Throughout the design of Jubilee Playground we were conscious of reusing and renovating site furniture and play equipment.” Street Furniture Australia provided a number of colourful Classic Plaza Seats to the site, in keeping with the pre-existing seating nearby. Mary O’Brien Reserve

Mary O’Brien Reserve received an upgrade from the City of Sydney, offering residents of Zetland and neighbouring suburbs a multi-purpose space to enjoy. Accessible Classic Plaza DDA Settings are included in the new design. Classic Plaza Seats surround two new playgrounds, for parents to relax while their children play.

Victory Memorial Gardens

In the heart of Wagga Wagga, the historic Victory Memorial Gardens are set on two hectares of land and offer a central meeting place for the city. Wagga Wagga Council have chosen the comfortable and timeless Mall range to upgrade their existing outdoor furniture. A number of Mall Settings and Mall Seats have been placed throughout the gardens, providing a place to gather with family or simply ponder the history of the park. Also, Rim Bins have been added to provide an efficient litter solution for visitors.
