Parramatta River Front

Parramatta River is an extensive waterway surrounded by natural bushland, residential buildings and industry, and it’s many crossings make it important to the life of the city. A number of foreshore parks, as well as walkways and cycleways, make this river accessible to the public. In an effort to encourage more visitors to the river, the Parramatta City Council upgraded the street furniture in 2008. Classic Plaza Settings offer ample space for families and friends to meet by the foreshore, and Classic Galleria Seats offer a comfortable spot to rest. A number of Wide Fountains provide walkers and runners with drinking water along the river’s edge.a

Tote Park

In the high density suburb of Zetland, green space is at a premium. Tote Park is small but welcoming, and it sits opposite Tote Building – a stylish heritage building that offers meeting and function rooms for special events. In 2003, the City of Sydney developed the park to include a kids playground and a new range of street furniture. Classic Plaza Seats line the pathways, Frame Bin Enclosures keep the park tidy, Bike Stations encourage cyclists to stop and take a break, and a number of Wide Fountains and Cantilever Fountains provide passersby with drinking water.
