Chris has extensive experience in furniture design, interior design and specification sales.

What inspires you?

Architecture and design are close to my heart. I have always enjoyed the sale of products to designers more than the design process on its own.

As a salesperson, collaboration with architects and designers gives you the privilege to be connected to the bigger picture of urban design and the many talented people in the industry.

Your favourite product and why?

Classic Plaza Seat. Versatile, practical, good-looking and a timeless product.

The seats can be modified to suit any need, such as DDA compliance, external power supply for students at Sydney University, and any installation situation.

US landscape architects visit Street Furniture Australia in Sydney

Street Furniture Australia and US partner Spruce & Gander in March hosted landscape architects from California and Texas on a visit to Sydney to experience a factory tour, site visits and a new product launch. The American landscape architects represented Avid Trails, MJS Landscape Architecture, RHAA Landscape Architecture + Planning, TBG Partners and Ten Eyck Landscape Architects. Over a week-long trip the guests were treated to famous sights of Sydney including the iconic Bondi Beach, a harbour cruise and dining at top restaurants in urban Surry Hills and the new Barangaroo precinct. Travelling to Regents Park in Western Sydney, they toured the Street Furniture Australia factory to see first-hand how products are designed, made and shipped all over the world. Book your spot on a 2024 Factory Tour

The Street Furniture Australia factory, in Regents Park, Western Sydney, is both a manufacturing hub and R&D studio for our Australian-designed and made street furniture products. We run fun and informative group events for customers throughout the year, to share how products are designed, tested and built, and the latest products and projects. This tour is open to design specifiers such as landscape architects and architects, and place custodians including Councils, government agencies, developers and other place managers.
